Jewellery Care

You’ve got your brand new shiny jewellery, but want to know how to care for it. Here are a few steps you can take to ensure your jewellery stays beautiful.

  • How to prolong its sparkle

Natural tarnishing happens, but wearing your jewellery during certain activities can speed it up.

It’s best to avoid wearing your jewellery while swimming, showering, washing up, or applying perfume, lotions, or hairspray.

  • How to clean your jewellery

Each piece of jewellery comes with a mini polishing cloth, using this to gently rub the silver will remove any tarnishing.

It’s recommended to only polish your jewellery once or twice a year. Over-polishing causes a gradual wearing down of the metal, which can thin the design over time. For regular care, a gentle wash with mild soap and water is enough to keep your jewellery looking its best.

  • How to store your jewellery

Each piece of jewellery comes with an anti-tarnishing strip which lasts 3 months (they’re easy to purchase online once this time is up).

When you’re not wearing your jewellery, I recommend to keep it in the box it came in, with the anti-tarnish strip placed on top.
